Please join us for the September 17, 2015 CAFP luncheon meeting.
One day, you may get an email or phone call from your company’s CEO asking you to make a large payment – and keep it confidential. Or your accounts payable department may receive a letter or phone call from a valued vendor requesting changes to the remittance account information on file. The requests seem legitimate, but the requestors aren’t who they claim to be. They’re impostors. Impostor fraud is hitting organizations worldwide. In this session, you’ll learn how to identify variations of impostor fraud and take away best practices for halting it before it hits your bottom line.
