Step B - Parking
Please note that this is a change from last year. Parking (although limited) will be available in our Bragg St Deck & East Visitors Lot - all attendees, regardless of where they park should enter through the Lobby. The Lobby will open at 11:30 a.m. so please ask attendees to not arrive before then.
o Bragg Street Deck/Lobby entrance: 601 Bragg Street
Please plan to park here and walk to the front of the FRBR to enter through the Lobby/front FRBR main entrance (not using entrance on 7th Street).
o The East Visitors Lot (EVL):
EVL is open for anyone who needs closer parking. Our Deck on Bragg Street has been getting VERY full Tues-Thurs, so I would encourage people to carpool if possible so we can fit as many cars as possible into the EVL. There are 39 regular parking spaces and 8 accessible spaces in the EVL. If this lot reaches capacity, attendees will be redirected to the Bragg Street Deck.
Here is some important information to relay:
The East Visitor Parking Lot & Lobby are open during construction, but the access lane that runs parallel to Byrd Street is closed. Please approach the building in the far right lane on Byrd Street. Slowly proceed past the first access lane entrance after 7th Street. Make a sharp right turn into the East Visitor Parking Lot from the second access lane entrance. There will be an officer standing by to check ID and give further instructions. Please use caution and drive slowly as you enter the lot. If the East Visitor Parking Lot reaches capacity, attendees will be directed to park at the Bragg Street Deck located at 601 Bragg Street, located between 5th Street and 7th Street. If you are bringing a guest, please consider arriving in one vehicle to facilitate parking and building entry.
Security Requirement: All visitors must present a picture ID to Security prior to entering the building. All persons entering the building are subject to metal detection. When you exit the building and return to the parking deck, go to the double doors on Bragg St., and press the red button to the right of the doors for entry. FRBR security policy requires that all guests be escorted throughout their visit; escort will be available upon arrival in the Lobby, exit from Conference Center, and any early departures.
