SESSION SUMMARY: Adoption of machine learning and advanced analytics is growing at a breakneck pace among both big and small companies alike. While the ML and AI industry is certainly maturing, many organizations are still struggling with how they can leverage these complex solutions in their technology portfolios. In this presentation, we'll summarize a variety of concepts that focus on demystifying machine learning, along with getting these solutions from ideation to reality.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

1. Gain understanding of the different types of machine learning approaches


2. Learn and explore key terminology and vocabulary related to advanced analytics


3. Discuss and learn about common challenges, barriers and impactful applications of machine learning in business environments

FROM THE NORTH ($.30 toll)

From Interstate 95 South toward Richmond, take 195 Downtown Expressway (exit 74A) .  From the expressway, take Canal Street exit.  Turn left at the first light onto 10th Street. 

Follow 10th Street across Byrd Street, and the East Tower will be on your IMMEDIATE right.  Enter the parking garage under the East Tower at level P-3, marked Visitor Parking.

FROM THE SOUTH ($.30 toll)   

From Interstate 95 North toward Richmond, take 195 Downtown Expressway (exit 74A) .

From the expressway, take Canal Street exit. Turn left at the first light onto 10th Street. Follow 10th Street across Byrd Street, and the East Tower will be on your IMMEDIATE right.  Enter the parking garage under the East Tower at level P-3, marked Visitor Parking.

FROM THE EAST ($.30 toll)

From Interstate 64 West toward Richmond, take Interstate 95 South, to 195 Downtown Expressway (exit 74A) .  From the expressway, take Canal Street exit.  Turn left at the first light onto 10th Street.  Follow 10th Street across Byrd Street, and the East Tower will be on your IMMEDIATE right.  Enter the parking garage under the East Tower at level P-3, marked Visitor Parking.

FROM THE WEST ($.70 toll)

From Interstate 64 East toward Richmond, take 195 South/Downtown Expressway . Follow signs to Downtown Expressway. Once on the expressway, take 2nd Street/Byrd Street exit. Get in right lane and turn right at the third light (10th Street); the East Tower will be on your IMMEDIATE right.

Participation Requirements for CPE Programs

To receive CPE credit for participation in a CAFP training program, you must sign-in at the beginning and actively participate throughout the session. You will receive an email notification once the attendance record has been processed including instructions on how to access your CPE certificate.
