TOPIC:  Empowering Engagement: Fostering Commitment to DEI Initiatives for Finance Professionals

SESSION SUMMARY: Empowering Engagement in 2025!  Learn how you can support core DEI initiatives in 2025!  Emphasis will be placed on steps that can be taken to continue to support and empower engagement.



LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Understanding DEI Initiatives Today: Explain the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and how they benefit organizations and employees.
  2. Strategies for Engagement in 2025: Provide actionable steps that leaders and organizations can take to foster commitment and support for DEI initiatives.
  3. Case Studies and Examples: Share real-life examples and case studies that highlight successful DEI initiatives and their positive impact.
  4. Interactive Discussion: Encourage participants to ask questions and engage in a follow-up discussion to address any concerns or ideas they may have.


COST:  Members=FREE /Non-members= $175 for all Spring Training Series sessions or a la carte pricing:  $30 per webex session/$125 for in person May 10th (includes 2 in person sessions/lunch)

1.5 CPE Credits and 1.5 CTP/FP&A Credits in the field of Personnel/Human Resources provided by VSCPA (CPE) & CAFP (CTP/FP&A). 


Participation Requirements for CPE Programs

To receive CPE credit for participation in a CAFP program, you must attend & actively participate in the full session.  You will receive an email notification once the attendance record has been processed including instructions on how to access your CPE certificate.

          

VSCPA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
